"Adventures at Tall Oaks" is a story about two children, Denny and Maggie, who are regular kids - just like you. When power goes off in their house, they get very bored because there is nothing to do at all! Their mother makes them go and play in the back yard. How unfair! There is nothing to do there either - until they use their imagination and discover that magic and adventure are everywhere. Together with their new friends - two dwarf elephants Tip and Top, brave Ferret, romantic Froger, naughty monkey Ginger, nervous chicken Mrs. Cluck, and her smart son Gregg - they build a tree house, make a raft to cross an ocean-size puddle, fight ferocious crocodiles, and do many other exciting and magical things, which could happen in anyone's back yard.
